Some SAAs are not worth working out yourself: a straight bill that has to become a consolidation, a line that has to point at a forwarder's CSN, a line removed whole. SCMTR.io prepares the SAA, checks it against customs' record and seals it for you. Only your authorised person's DSC opens it, and you sign and send it from SCMTR.io. You never have to handle the file.
In this film
- SCMTR.io's filing desk prepares the SAA for ICES Advisory 38/2026's case: the straight bill removed, and added back as a consolidation quoting the forwarder's CSN, in one SAA.
- It is sealed: checked, and pinned to the version of your SAM customs holds now. If customs' record moves on, it will not send.
- Released, and all you receive is a link.
- At the line: the link opens only with the DSC of the authorised person the SAM names. No other DSC opens it, a colleague's included.
- You see what the SAA does — which line is removed, which is added, the totals — not the file.
- Sign and send with that DSC. SCMTR.io checks the SAA against customs' live record once more, then it goes to ICEGATE.
- Customs' answer comes to your ICEGATE e-mail as an ACK file, as for any SAA.
