Is this master bill still open to your CSN? Customs lookup on ICEGATE (error 320, the SAM)

Before you file a CSN — or promise a customer an amendment — ask ICEGATE's public record whether the master bill is still open to you. No one's login, no one's JSON.

In this film

  • Customs lookup, under the ? menu
  • A master bill nobody has filed on: nothing on record yet — the normal state, and open to you
  • One another forwarder has filed on: its CSN accepted, by PAN and date. Customs links the bill to theirs — a new CSN is refused (320), and any CSN of yours on it can no longer be changed
  • One the shipping line has already put in its manifest (SAM): under ICES Advisory 37/2026 a missing house bill becomes the line's manifest amendment (SAA); an amendment of your own CSN stays open
