Found a mistake in a CSN customs has already accepted? It cannot be edited or filed again — it is corrected with an amendment against the CSN. This shows how, and how to read the Changes drawer before you sign.

In this film

  • The filing's page says whether it can still be amended, and why. Amend the day you find something wrong: once another party's CSN on the same master B/L is accepted, customs refuses the amendment (error 320).
  • Amend this filing opens the same filing as the amendment (SCA), exactly as customs accepted it.
  • Correcting a weight where it is typed — the house bill, its container, and the master's row for that box — and a consignee's street. Every changed field shows what the accepted filing said.
  • The Changes drawer on the right lists every value customs will be asked to change, old and new, block by block — including the ones that followed your edit: the master's gross weight, and a notify party that matches the consignee.
  • Click a change to go straight to it, then Sign & upload.
