How SCMTR.io is built

SCMTR.io is operated by TAGQA Pty Ltd (ABN 45 634 337 778), Melbourne, Australia — the publisher named on the signed desktop signer, so you can check the two against each other before you install it.

The operating entity, its jurisdiction, and how your data is handled are set out in the privacy policy and the terms of service.

What we make

One product: a filing platform for the SCMTR messages the trade files through ICEGATE — the CSN that consol agents, NVOCCs and forwarders file for their house BLs, the SAM / SDM a shipping line or steamer agent files for the vessel, and the export CSN filed against shipping bills. It exists because each is a deeply structured JSON message with its own rules per filing, and the people required to file them are shipping professionals, not JSON engineers.

How it is built, and why you can check our work

The platform is built from ICEGATE's official message guides — the CSN's and the shipping line manifest's: every field, code list and per-filing mandatory rule — and then checked against real filings customs actually accepted, and the ACK files of the ones it rejected. A check that blocks a filing is one customs enforces; one nobody has seen customs reject is shown as worth a look, never as a wall. Where accepted practice differs from the published guidance, we document the difference rather than picking a side quietly; the SCMTR reference says so in the open, and the assistant answering questions on this site draws from the same material.

The same standard applies to this website: what the public pages claim, the product does. When something is not built yet, it lives on the public roadmap where you can vote on it, not in the marketing copy.
