Roadmap
What we are building next
Everything below came from someone who files under SCMTR telling us what was missing. Vote for what would help you most — we build in roughly this order, and the organisations that file with us carry the most weight in it.
Already a customer? Sign in before voting so your organisation is counted — anonymous votes are counted too, just for less.
In progress
Being built right now.Fill cargo movement and port of receipt automatically
In progressThree fields the form still asks for are fully determined by ports you have already entered — confirmed against 53 of 53 consignments from real filings, and against the templates of an agent who files daily. When this lands, LC/TI/TC and the port of receipt stop being questions.
Planned
Committed, not yet started.Check declared containers against customs' own record
PlannedThe pre-flight check already compares your voyage and bill details against what ICEGATE holds. Container numbers are next: a declared box that disagrees with the carrier's manifest is the single most useful mismatch to catch before customs does.
Import a month of house bills from a spreadsheet
PlannedKey in one house bill per screen today; paste a whole consolidation tomorrow. Upload the spreadsheet your shipping line or CHA already sends you, map the columns once, and get one filing per row — with everything the checker would have caught flagged before anything is filed.
Under consideration
We have read these and think they are worth doing. Votes decide the order.Where the ship actually is, on the tracking card
Under considerationThe tracking card already answers what customs and the carrier say. The ship's own position is the third answer — we already receive live AIS positions for the fleet filers use, and the card is where they belong.
The extra itinerary leg a CFS delivery needs, added for you
Under considerationCargo cleared at a container freight station needs its own leg in the itinerary — gateway to CFS — and a missing leg is a rejection. Today you add it by hand; we are collecting the custodian codes needed to add it automatically. Blocked on data nobody publishes, which is why this is "considering" and not "planned".
Port names written the way filers write them
Under considerationCustoms accepts free-text port names, but ours come from the official list ("NANSHA PT") while every real filing writes them the way people talk ("NANSHA CHINA"). We plan to learn the spellings from accepted filings so your documents read like everyone else's.
Shipped
Live in the product today.Warn about a duplicate master B/L in the full form
Shipped September 2026Typing a master B/L asks our records and ICEGATE whether that bill has already been filed — the check behind rejection codes 122 and 123. It ran in the guided steps only; it now runs in the full form too.
Search inland depots and SEZs by their working name
Shipped September 2026Our port list carried the full customs address, so searching for “Khurja ICD” or “Dahej SEZ” found nothing. Both now work, along with the operator names filers actually use.
Clean up figures pasted from a document
Shipped September 2026Pasting “12,500 KGS” into a weight box now becomes 12500, with the unit filled in beside it — rather than being refused outright and cleaned up by hand.
Re-check the vessel call number before you file
Shipped September 2026A VCN chosen early can be replaced by the port before the filing goes. It is now checked against customs’ own list of calls whenever you open the filing and again as you sign, and we email you if the call one of your sent filings names disappears.
Correcting the consolidator PAN updates the container agent code
Shipped September 2026Fixing a mistyped PAN on the master used to leave the old agent code on every container. It now follows the PAN, in the guided steps and the full form, including on a draft reopened later.
Cross-check master and house container figures
Shipped September 2026Weight and packages are yours to type at both levels, and the review page shows the arithmetic per container with a tick or a cross — so a master that disagrees with the house bills under it is caught here rather than by customs.
Capitals and character rules applied as you type
Shipped September 2026Every filing customs accepts is in capitals, so party names, addresses and goods text convert what you type and what you paste, and characters that cannot be filed are dropped as you go rather than arriving as a rejection.
