Have ICEGATE’s replies checked automatically with your own checking address

3:06

Played in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Invented data — no customer's data is shown.Watch on YouTube

Forward ICEGATE's replies to SCMTR automatically and every one comes back to you checked. A forwarding rule needs an address of your own, because a forwarded message still says it is from ICEGATE, not from you.

In this film

  • Settings → Checking by e-mail → Get my own checking address, and why the shared address cannot take a forwarding rule.
  • Treat it like a password: anything sent to it is checked, whoever sends it, and reports only ever come to you.
  • A forwarding rule in your mail system pointed at it — and Microsoft 365's block on forwarding outside the organisation.
  • Gmail's confirmation: it goes to your checking address, so SCMTR passes it on to you with Gmail's own code and link.
  • A forwarded reply's report says who sent it and that nobody verified that sender, and its button only ever opens the checker — never a filing ready to record.
  • Get a new address if it gets out: the old one, and every rule pointed at it, stops at once.
