Which ship is this, and when is it calling? Look a ship up on SCMTR's VCN search by name, IMO number or VCN — no filing open, no account needed.

In this film

  • VCN search, in the header of scmtr.io: one box takes the ship as the bill of lading writes it, its seven-digit IMO number, or a VCN.
  • By name, the page asks customs — a request made for this search, no account needed — and lists the calls still to come: each VCN with its port, rotation number and when customs expects it.
  • Every answer is dated with when customs answered. Customs can change a call, so check the date.
  • A VCN off an arrival notice finds its ship, with that call picked out.
  • A ship whose last call was weeks ago: customs lists nothing still to come. "No upcoming call yet" is normal — a VCN is issued only days before a ship arrives.
