One master bill, one house bill, one container — from New filing to the button that sends a Cargo Summary Notification to customs, using SCMTR's guided steps.

In this film

  • Start from CSN filing → Import filing — CSN Entry (SCE): one screen per document you hold.
  • The master bill of lading: its number and date, the shipping line as its PAN.
  • Finding the ship: type it as the bill writes it, pick the hull, and take the voyage from customs' own list of calls at your port — the VCN is filled in for you.
  • The route, typed once for every house bill, and the containers with their check digits verified as you type.
  • The house bill: shipper, consignee in India, notify party, the cargo line, and which of the master's containers it is in.
  • Review: the whole filing checked at once, the voyage checked again, and each box's master against its house bills.
  • The full form, the scmtr DSC Signer (installed once), and Sign & upload.
