An export CSN comes back rejected. Eight problems across two bills of lading. Here is how to read it, bill by bill, and what to change.

In this film

  • 159 — a straight bill that covers a shipping bill and names no PCIN.
  • 383 and 384 — the same PCIN on a bill and on the line under it. Each shipping bill's PCIN goes on exactly one line.
  • 225 — the bill's packages are not the total of its lines'.
  • 709 — the items do not add up to the line.
  • 239 with 381 — a line that lists none of the bill's containers.
  • 53 — a net weight of zero.
