Before the shipping line files its SAM, a correction is free. After it, the same correction is the line's IGM amendment (SAA) — lines charge up to ₹10,000 a request — and the Bill of Entry waits until it is approved. So Sign & upload checks first.
In this film
- Sign & upload asks customs what the line has filed for every master BL, before your DSC is asked for
- Your MBL PDF: the CSN is held against it too — here it catches a bill date typed wrong
- Fixed while it still costs nothing, because the line has not filed yet
- An amendment after the line's SAM: the check names the difference customs rejects (164) and says the line would have to file an SAA
- Sending anyway needs your own reason, kept with the filing
